Yes, I use an anti-inflammatory gel called Voltaren. Never had a problem getting it until about 4 weeks ago. Then the supply just dried up. It's good stuff. Pharmacist said he'd put me on the list and let me know when they start shipping again.

We've had a lot of problems, especially with pain meds and anti-nausea meds, also some antibiotics at times. Has been going on for a couple of years in my experience. Lately some of our more common pain meds have been very very difficult to obtain.
I have seen occasional shortages in the past, but the last year or so it seems like there is something else is on "indefinite backorder" every week. Also noticed that some generic cheap meds suddenly jumped in price the past few months.

I am a nurse and have noticed a couple of seemingly common meds that are hard to get. The above mentioned Voltaren being one.
For your tin foil beanie moment of the day, some comments I have seen say the government is buying them up to prepare for the 2012 thing. Of course the same sources say the government is stocking up on coffins for the same reason.
