I wish our chick fil a was open but it's in the university food court. I think this is a great demonstration of free market principles. If you don't like the stand a business takes on a social issue don't go there. Starbucks funds anti gun activitys so I would never frequent one. However if you like supporting gun control by all means stop in.

Rahm Emanual....mayor of Chicago...

Condemns a business owner because of his opinion on gays and gay marriage.

Invites Louis Farrakhan and his muslims to help with the gang problem in Chicago.

The business owner is simply stating his beliefs taking no action of violence.

The muslims kill homosexuals and would certainly not be for gay marriage.

Common sense going out the window.

That's exactly why I won't eat there. Don't care what god you wanna believe in, leave it at home...... every Sunday is a bit much.

Really? You won't eat at Chick Fil A on a Tuesday because they aren't open on Sundays? What kind of logic is that?

I'm sure your god appreciates you "leaving it at home", but mine does not.

They exercised their right to say what they want, I exercise my right not to support them, easy peasy.

SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!!!! It was the president, not the entire company. Obama says stuff you don't agree with. Does he represent our entire country? No, he doesn't. Don't boycott an entire company because of one person's views. His views are not offensive and cause no harm to you or anyone for that matter. You love the 2nd amendment but not the first? Wow!!! I bet none of you would stop buying Winchester or Federal ammo just because one person at that company said something you didn't agree with.

I thought there was some sort of " thanks for being pro-gun/conceal carry go to starbucks and support them" day recently?

I'm on a business trip to Mississippi this week and decided to run by the local Chick-fil-a for lunch. Their parking lot was completely full and customers' cars had spilled out onto adjacent streets. The drive-thru line was at least 100 yards long. There was a long line of customers queued up and standing in the hot sun. I decided to pass, but will try to go back this evening. I hope they have some food left.

They aren't open on sundays for religious reason and or "family" reasons. Not everyone's "day of rest or worship" is sunday. If it was a pure business decision in terms of volume.... I get it......once a year? I get it..... every sunday? Eh, I'll pass.

I'm sure your god appreciates you "leaving it at home", but mine does not

Excellent, I hope you have enough conviction in your religion to not shop in store or eat at a restaurant on sunday.
