Illegal immigrants working in the US

Maybe I should not post this but it has bothered me, especially since I have removed, retired from the work force for over twelve years. This may be long, but stay with me, please. Had lunch with old company friend who is back here on vacation yesterday. The company I worked for in mgmt for 28 years has many operations in the upper midwest, plus foreign plants as well. Good friend of mine is still with them at the second largest plant up north. He is a supervisor over production lines as most are. The company hires illegals left and right. He has one couple, not married who both work for him who each have four children each from prior marriages or whatever. The two are taking home together $1500 a week. They and most illegals working for the company live in a small town thirty miles away and live there under different names in order to get free lunches for the kids and food stamps. Per my friend this is the norm up there. Another thing is when someone is hired and then fired, they have had illegals come back with a different SS number, well in some cases the SS has been a felon from a different state and the company calls the sheriff and the LE come out and the guy says that isn't me but they still hire him back. Seriously, my old friend doesn't make things up. I am just happy that my old friend can get out of there within the year and return to OK. As I say this is from my friend and he does not make things up and I am not surprised since he has seen it first hand. OH, one last thing, the illegals are asked repeatedly to go for the direct deposit for the paychecks, but they won't do it because they want to take to checks to the bank and then send cash via Western Union or whatever back to Mexico or where ever.

I think it's a shame because in towns like that I am CERTAIN that there are officials who know whats going on and have some bit of authority to put an end to it but choose not to for whatever reason.

JB, I don't want to get into a pissing match with you since are far more intelligent than I and I get banned from here every time I respond to you in the past, but JB, you really want to know what bothers me? Well, this company is or has one of the best brand names in the world, Not electronics cars or anything else, so I don't want to list their name here, but as long as I worked for them we had integrity and the best or some of the best products in the world, yes, the world, and I won't say the industry because none of the OSA'rs will guess the company, but that is another story. I am simply disappointed in the company which had great values from the 19th century until I left, at least I thought. l, JB find this personally disturbing, because I loved the company. l That is too much for me to say, but these are my feelings. There are Americans out of work? Yes, many well, I should stop here. Thanks to all for reading my rant, and again this is one of the most reputable companies whose stock prices are ALWAYS good, and may be JB you should look at it if you don't already own it, being the wise one you are.

If they are in fact illegals your friend should have the balls to drop a dime on them. They are what's killing our economy. If the government would deport the illegals then real, legitimate Americans could go back to work. Sad, sad, sad state of affairs.

Easy for you to say, Sir, my friend wants to retire and get the hell out of there. Do you have any idea how liberal the upper midwest is including Federal, State, County and local LE's are? NO, he has lived there for 7 years and couldn't get a CC permit. NO, he had one since day one here in OK, maybe I should just shut up because I think I have said too much.

Drop a dime to who? The feds? They're actively disinterested in cases such as these. Unless the illegals are covered in MS-13 tats and shooting gats in the parking lot, they could care less.
