I am one of the board's "pro-LEOs" if you want to call it that, but I don't agree with this.

When the system crashes, I have no illusions of my local PD being there to keep me from being eaten up by the wolves. They will all be employed protecting infrastructure and the ruling class....we'll take care of ourselves. Not every sheepdog wears a uniform and carries a badge.

THIS....

I dont know what the classification would be, but there are those that grew up around the wolves , that no longer tolerate them...wolves protecting the sheep???... Its so.!

I don't think people are bashing cops just to bash cops. They are bashing people who want to erode away our rights. The 4th amendment should be just as much as important as the 2nd. Most of the threads recently, including the one (and only) I recently posted about cops entering wrong house through a window because of a footprint, have been about illegal searches or raids on wrong houses. I don't think it was to bash cops in general but the erosion of our 4th amendment rights and lite punishment for those making these mistakes, and the militarization of our police in general. If this goes on enough it will be the new normal and become accepted. That's all I've got to say about it. I don't agree with not talking of these cases if they are out of state as it affects all of us when someone tramples our rights whether its politicians attacking our 2A or police forces performing illegal searches attacking our 4A, but that's not my decision. And there are other boards for that I suppose.

So... If some rogue cop violates someone's civil rights, including unjustly killing someone, it is fine to discuss it as long as the crooked and corrupt cop carries a badge here in Oklahoma.

However, if it occurs elsewhere then it is a case of "Hear No Evil" and "See No Evil." You know... be a good American. 'Cause if I or someone else mentions it then I/we might be guilty of "Cop Bashing." After all, whatever outrage is perpetrated upon American society by any other police agency outside of the State of Oklahoma, including agencies of the Federal Government, should be none of our concern.

I get it.

I don't want to be banned for having the gall to expose/discuss tyranny anywhere else on the other side of the state line.

Actually, J.B., the views expressed in your original post surprises me, considering that you are an attorney/solicitor. You have always given me the impression that you are somewhat libertarian or even what some would call "left of center." I don't mean anything negative or inflammatory toward you, but your original post rather took me back and gave pause for reflection.

Perhaps that was your intent.

Go Figure.

Basically, this is the bottom line.

Here's what some of you don't get. Some of you guys carry it all to far. Does the membership really want to open up the GEneral Discussion page to see 10 "bad cop threads?" It gets old.

I really relaxed the rules here. People only get banned for breaking the rules or being dickheads. Threads rarely get closed. Yet that is still not good enough for some of you. Everything has to either be taken to an extreme or met with some stupid sarcastic joke. Some of you Ef it up for the rest.

Here's the deal: this is a forum with rules. If you don't like the rules, just leave. It's that simple. Just go away and don't come back.

If you choose to break the rules and get banned. Take it like a man. Don't piss and moan about it like a little *****. Dont insult the mods. Don't like being banned? Don't break the rules. Don't like the Administration here? Then don't come around.

And a little word of warning, don't give me **** about this post either. Some of you make me regret relaxing the rules and make me think that there was a good reason for the days when bans were handed out regularly, and threads closed at the drop of a hat.

Grow the Ef up.
