The armchair lawyers of OSA, that's who! I know, I know ... Poor guys ... It's just a shame. Except for dieselwrench. I feel his pain. Only comfort I can give him is if he sticks to his guns (figuratively speaking) and his rights were violated, he should make sure the department pays his legal fees and expenses on top of whatever settlement he winds up with. (I'd say his attorney ought to make sure of that, but just in case ... Because half the lawyers out there graduated in the bottom half of their class ... And even the good ones can overlook stuff, and the bad ones just don't care.)​

Still waiting on someone to answer why the US has a higher incident rate of police killing cillivians than other developed countries. It can't be the 2A as we all make the argument that bad guys will use anything ad a weapon if they didn't have guns and the data shows that the police do in fact kill bad guys that are armed with weapons other than guns. So what is it? Does the US just have that many more bad guys than the rest of the world? If that's the case what is causing the number of bad guys to be so high here compared to the rest of the world?

I agree. Thing is the internet tough guys ALWAYS show up in threads like these and then next thing you know the rest of us normal, common sense kinda folks get drowned out by the tough guys who want to come out swinging ... I know it's a real PITA but good for you for sticking to your guns and going after the cop who did you wrong. Guys like him are the ones who make it rough on the guys who AREN'T like that and are in that job for all the right reasons, and not to be assholes to people just because they can.
