I think my does are wanting the same thing!
Saturday opening morning I finally shot my first buck. He ain't much on headgear, a 5 pointer, but I needed to get that first buck under my belt. I love filling the freezer with meat. That makes three this season on ice.

On a side note, I had the pleasure of meeting Meatgrinder and Deerslayer on my trip home this weekend (on the side of the road on the turnpike...lol), and they’re both great guys!!!

That's an attractive rack. Much better looking than my first buck. I would hang it on the wall with pride.
My buddy has his first deer mounted on his wall. Scrawny 6 point, but he is more proud of that deer than any he has killed since including some big elk.
It's your first, Treat it as the same as when you lost your virginity.
I have my first rack mounted on the garage wall along with others that I don't remember the story about killing, but I do remember my first.
