I can't hardly get a deer to come to a feeder at my place. I put one up in a travel path in june, multiple does every morning and evening. They completely disappeared and never hit the feeder (plenty of browse at that time, I know) through october when I shut that feeder down. If we dumped corn on the ground, they'd flock in. With cattle and hogs though, it wasn't sustainable. Investing in t-posts and barbed wire for this next season. I can at least shoot the hogs.At my place, does comes to feeders and bucks come to corn poured on the ground. The only reason I run any feeders at all is to keep the cost down. Dumped corn goes pretty quick.
