I agree with you 100%. Trump wouldn’t have done what he did and he sure wouldn’t have picked William Barr as AG if he was a true supporter of the 2A. Trump has done a good job on many things but none of it matters without the 2A. We have zero freedom without it. And right now we really aren’t free. If we were we wouldn’t need permission to buy a gun. We wouldn’t have to pay the government to own a can or an sbr or a machine gun. We are living under the illusion of freedom. Meanwhile the government keeps growing in size and gaining more power over us. As I have said, we are in a soft civil war as we speak. Not far off from a full blown civil war. It is coming. If people can’t see it they are either blind or ignorant.

What has Barr done so far to earn your distrust in this administration?
I understand your concern about his past history, but you do realize they are basically at the helm of their master which is POTUS.
In his prior history he was under another boss that probably directed his position.
Political appointees are just that, appointees and follow the agenda of their boss, just like you do at work.
I'm withholding opinion and judgement until he actually attacks conservative issues like the 2A which he hasn't under this administration.

The thing we tend to forget is that what is "infringing" to us doesn't seem that way to the majority of society. To most people, a bump stock is only something to allow you to shoot, and kill, exponitially faster. We are failing in our efforts to change that idea, mainly because of media coverage of shooting incidents and the public perception we have created over the years. We need to do a better job of presenting ourselves as normal, intelligent, citizens working to preserve the Constitution. Showing up at the Gathering place, decked out as Tactical Timmy does nothing but harm our image. We just need to be smart...

My money is on the brace being an SBR. Surprised that hasn't been a big thing yet.

They would have to get around the issues of the arm brace being designed for use by handicapped vets and civilians, and the brace not remaking or redesigning a firearm. Those would be a harder sell for the Dems.

Or if you’re black, or white,
or if you’re democrat, or republican,
Or if you’re poor? What will it be next?
They’ve already decided that veterens are risks and should have their guns taken away.
I don’t remember seeing written anywhere, these exceptions to infringements.
