This thread inspired me to go pickup a few links this afternoon.
We knew that. That's why we were thinking we'd have to have our own trucks heading each way pretty much every day. It would have been a gold mine if it could have been arranged. Their 1% milk is almost as good as whole milk from the store. Braums has some sort of good juju going on with their milk products which is what we were mainly thinking on. The other stuff, not so much.
FWIW, the radius is 8 hours from their farm in Tuttle. I don't recall if they told us that on the tour, though.
A few months ago, I couldn't decide what I wanted for dinner, so I went to Braum's and got some peach frozen yogurt and some strawberry, mint chocolate chip, and some kind of banana ice cream. Then I told everybody in my family group text that I was livin' the six-year-old dream, having ice cream for dinner.
My wife loved blue bell Dutch chocolate. I actually prefer some of the natural real vanilla bean myself. Brand is usually not much of an issue or dairy queen soft serve vanilla. Otherwise whatever looks interesting will work. I rarely buy any though I'm trying to not turn into a balloon sho I just sit the and suffer without.
Sort of an old thread but I will tell you that yes, there is ice cream that is bad. Bad as in nasty bad even. “Where be’est this so called bad ice cream?” You ask. “At a little ice cream shop in Bar Harbor, Maine” says I. “Really?” You say with a look of doubt, “And what flavor is it?” “Lobster flavor” I respond. “Lobster flavored ice cream is not just bad, it is nasty bad”.

I get your point. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
I tasted it as a sample, why I felt I needed to do that is beyond me now. Then I got a double dip of I think it was Dutch Chocolate and French Vanilla.
