This thread inspired me to go pickup a few links this afternoon.I'm gonna check that place out. Just a mile up from Wheelers. I used to go to Wheelers all the time, but they got kinda pricey after the tornado.
I can’t confirm if it’s true or not, but I used to work with a guy who worked at Braums as a second job. He told me that their philosophy was to sell fresh food and ice cream. The locations of the farthest stores from the central location depended on how far a delivery truck could drive in one day. If it was farther than that, they wouldn’t build a store there.
FWIW, the radius is 8 hours from their farm in Tuttle. I don't recall if they told us that on the tour, though.I can’t confirm if it’s true or not, but I used to work with a guy who worked at Braums as a second job. My mind can't process these posts that say a certain kind of ice cream is bad. I don't think I've ever had bad ice cream. Some may be better than others, but it's all pretty good.
I get your point. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.Sort of an old thread but I will tell you that yes, there is ice cream that is bad. Bad as in nasty bad even. “Where be’est this so called bad ice cream?” You ask. “At a little ice cream shop in Bar Harbor, Maine” says I. “Really?” You say with a look of doubt, “And what flavor is it?” “Lobster flavor” I respond. “Lobster flavored ice cream is not just bad, it is nasty bad”.
