Which wattage did you get? I'm thinking if I get 3 of the 100 watt equivalent it might be too bright for my 3 car garage? What do you think?
I went with the 60. Should be 4 times better than the 2 60 watt bulbs out there now.Which wattage did you get? I'm thinking if I get 3 of the 100 watt equivalent it might be too bright for my 3 car garage? What do you think?
I like that they are motion sensing and have a day night sensor.I went with the 60. Should be 4 times better than the 2 60 watt bulbs out there now.
It was hard to choose so I'll see.
I installed one of these in my shed up at the lake and what a difference. I immediately order two more for my garage here in Yukon. I should have them tomorrow in the mail. Amazon is amazing. lol
Each bulb runs independently so you can remove some of the bulbs if it is to bright, in some of our offices on a 4 bulb fixture i only put in 2 bulbs. If they used the direct drive bulbs now if they added a driver for all the bulbs not sure since i havent installed any of them but will be worth asking.I don't know what specific product they used, but they replaced all of the fluorescent tubes in our office with LED strips. (They kept the fixtures, but got rid of the fluorescent tubes and ballasts.) They're too dang bright now; the main work room is L-shaped, with the lights ganged into three groups, and usually at least one of the groups is kept off (though lately there has been a minor revolt, and two of them are being left off).
I wish they'd get the fixtures "split," so we can turn off half of each fixture instead of big groups of fixtures. It's hard to stay awake after lunch with only the daylight that comes in from the windows...
Man, I keep reading that as "ball straining" and I just can't follow the link.
