Yeah, weird name
What wattage did you get?
The price of LED's has come down considerably. All my lights are now LED. Get Eco-smart bulbs at Home Depot guaranteed for life, no receipt, no questions asked.
I got the 60 watts. It puts out about 6000 lumens.
I was intrigued by this product. With the good reviews, I've ordered one. Prime will be delivered tomorrow.
Yeah. I read that and thought "Those must be heavy...".
We installed some 'can-less' recessed LED lights in the kitchen and realized quickly that we'd rarely run them at full power. In fact, we refer to the brightest setting as 'bar's closed' and only use it when we are cleaning.
I'm selling a house I built 20 years ago. I've always hated the florescent lights in the shop. They were called "high output" back in the day. What they "output highly" is noise. In a big 4 car garage plus shop I had ten 8-footers and when you turned them on it sounded like someone kicked a coffee can across the floor with all the commotion, and then they'd hum so loud you couldn't think. I replaced them with these 4-footers:
At least as bright, and silent. Should have done it earlier. New owner will appreciate.
I replaced a 8’ high output fluorescent light with a LED today.
I found one at Home Depot that was two 4s’ assembly’s that would allow them to be mounted parallel or in random. 11000 Lumen (2 x 5500).
The existing lamps were 4100-4500 lumen.
I’m very happy with it/them. So much so, I’m going to go pick up 3 more to swap out this weekend.
Saw this on Harbor Freight . . . https://www.harborfreight.com/4-ft-led-hanging-shop-light-64410.html
