4473 is a registration. Y'all just haven't experienced law enforcement showing up to your business to question you about a legal gun you sold years ago private party.

And still can't figure out how the "Hispanic/not Hispanic" question got past the PC police, but that is another story.
However, the 4473 is a trackable document. Been involved in a couple of phone calls from ATF saying we are tracking the history of firearm xyz and the end of the trail right now is your business. Where did it go from there?

The big issue is this is petitioning an agency - a non-law-making agency, an agency run by unelected, unbeholden to the people pricks, to ask them to not infringe on our Constitutional rights. How in the hell have we allowed them to have the authority? Who gave them this authority?

Not for those in the business, but for me? I try to never buy new anymore. Used, private sales. That's how I don't comply.
I have a couple of firearms I've bought new but they're the ones I take when I'm on a boat.

+1 Remember when this: https://www.newson6.com/story/15588...der-weapon-in-2008-weleetka-girls-murder-case was front page news, and even this very forum had discussions about OSBI tracing (or at least attempting to) the purchase history of the firearm by its serial?
