It would seem to me that this seals the deal. As Louis B. Mayer once said, verbal agreements aren't worth the paper they're written on; if it didn't make it into the agreement, then it's highly likely that there's nothing to stop Trump from making it his legal residence for any purpose, including voting.
True, but a lot could be argued just one those points depending if it was at an on the record type meeting or deposition. It's certainly a central point for consideration.
"As diligent" I should certainly hope that I'd continue a trend of diligence of watching The President of the United States of America rather than simply following Trump or Biden, or whomever will be in office later on. I know this might be a crazy concept around here, but the office is much more important than the person in it.

I'm not a lawyer, but I've spent enough time around them to be fairly certain that a written contract/agreement trumps a verbal agreement, and they usually have language in the document to that effect. That's really the point of putting it on paper in the first place--to eliminate the he said/she said aspect.
Ahhh. So you're one of the people that thinks the law only exists to serve your purposes. Not that laws apply equally. Lots of examples of people that believed that throughout history. Granted, most aren't remembered fondly in my experience. Or you could just be a cantankerous troll with so little of substance to offer that you like just checking in to something you "don't give two chits about" for the giggles. Fair enough.
