But all of Rampell's verbal assurances did not make it into the agreement. There is no language about whether Trump — as owner — must abide by the rules about overnight stays that apply to members.
It would seem to me that this seals the deal. As Louis B. Mayer once said, verbal agreements aren't worth the paper they're written on; if it didn't make it into the agreement, then it's highly likely that there's nothing to stop Trump from making it his legal residence for any purpose, including voting.

True, but a lot could be argued just one those points depending if it was at an on the record type meeting or deposition. It's certainly a central point for consideration.

Just looking at post #41. I hope you are as diligent at following Biden as you are Trump.
"As diligent" I should certainly hope that I'd continue a trend of diligence of watching The President of the United States of America rather than simply following Trump or Biden, or whomever will be in office later on. I know this might be a crazy concept around here, but the office is much more important than the person in it.

Little known fact --- it behooves all of us to demand strong leadership, ethics, morals, and brains from anyone that is in that office. Because if they suck miserably at their job, we all suffer as a country. If they do well, we tend to do well as a country. It's this hyper partisan "my person is right your person is wrong and I'll sink my own ship to spite the Captain" BS that's going to be our downfall.

I’ll check in to this thread for all the great things Biden does.

I'm not a lawyer, but I've spent enough time around them to be fairly certain that a written contract/agreement trumps a verbal agreement, and they usually have language in the document to that effect. That's really the point of putting it on paper in the first place--to eliminate the he said/she said aspect.

You might be able to make an ethical argument that he should abide by what he said (if he even said it, as it appears that came from his attorney), but I don't think there's a leg to stand on, legally speaking.

Well you cared enough to poke your little eyes into his thread, and you cared enough to type a response, and cared enough to type a second response, so I think you might be full of crap if you at you don't care that much. Either put on some big boy pants and get in the thread or take the sissy sideline comments out. Or if you want, start a thread debating something similar regarding a progressive or liberal.... there's lots of folks here who'd circle jerk on that one. But it still doesn't answer my question here. Hopefully your next response will though.

Naaaahhhhhh. It's a new day and I still don't give two chits about your original question nor do i care if Trump voted illegally. Review post #24. ^^^^^

Ahhh. So you're one of the people that thinks the law only exists to serve your purposes. Not that laws apply equally. Lots of examples of people that believed that throughout history. Granted, most aren't remembered fondly in my experience. Or you could just be a cantankerous troll with so little of substance to offer that you like just checking in to something you "don't give two chits about" for the giggles. Fair enough. Doesn't really matter that you gave an answer to the question when you just spoke to character instead.
