If you don't have a smoker, use a smoke tube filled with wood pellets.
When out in the RV we use a smoke tube on our Blackstone flat grill to make ribs, brisket and so on.

One of the girls that helps with Sweetie surprised me with a huge plate for supper. Chicken fried pork steak smothered in gravy, mashed potatoes covered in gravy, and broccoli.
Man, it was good. The chicken fry was perfect, and cut easily with a fork.
Keep in mind folks, any ice on the trees and power lines, well when that wind kicks it up this weekend those same limbs and power lies are going to popping. A lot of folks will likely see power outages, keep that in mind. I hope every one has at least a back up source of heat to keep your house above freezing.

Instead of grocery shopping this weekend we decided we would do it this evening and beat the rush.
Good God! At Crest people had to wait to get a grocery cart. Bread was GONE. Luckily we got everything we needed between there and Aldi because wifey wants fried chicken for Valentines day dinner.
Lol here is the bread Isle at Crest last night. People have lost their damn minds.
Crazy. I was at the Edmond Walmart yesterday at 1100 hrs. The bread aisle was still well stocked, although we don't need any.
Mrs Dumpstick is going to stop by there early this afternoon, to fetch essentials like wine and chocolate.

I still hate winter, but I hope it goes ahead and snows like crazy. If I'm gonna be cold, might as well get some moisture out of it.
For all you bean cookers - whether you like hot links or ham, an actual ham hock or a pig's foot in the pot will improve your beans immeasurably. The gelatin that cooks out will thicken and enrich those beans in a way that plain ol' muscle meat and fat won't.
I put a big pot on and made some cornbread, it's gonna be tasty!
