I couldn't care less if Putin fell down a flight of stairs and broke his neck either. Because both him and Biles are nothing but anti American, communist pieces of crap. At least Putin isn't a fraud.

The US Olympic Gymnastics organization is not organized. Since they found and prosecuted the sick pedophile they used as a doctor, they have cleaned the entire upper management including the CEO/Director, 4 times in 5 years. It is a tremendous accomplishment that these young ladies even made it and medaled at all. My hat is off to them and their personal coaches (Dad in one case). Simone should have stayed retired, but the the chaos and ignorance of the committee put their entire hopes on her and convinced her to come back and advertised the team as one - Simone, not a team as we have seen them become. My hat is off to Simone for courage and strength and recovery from molestation to reach the plateau she has reached.
The men's team is in utter chaos. This was the worst team ever fielded by the US in the Olympics. 5th Place.

I apologize for singling out one individual, but this is an example of how we are really the same as those on the left, the snowflakes, etc. This young lady has the "Right" to support organizations that we may not agree with. Just as we have the "Right" to stand with the Second Amendment. Many of us, at some point in our lives, raised our right hand and swore "to support and defend the Constitution of the United States". There was no statement that we only support those sections we like.

Maybe she made a mistake this past week or so, I really glad none of us have made mistakes. I admire the dedication and ability that all of these athletes demonstrate.

You should. Because it's far more important than how high she can jump, or how many somersaults she can do. A persons belief's tells you about their core character. The fact is she supports BLM. And BLM is nothing but a Marxist organization. Always has been. And always will be. It was founded and headed by admitted Marxists. And they believe in Marxists principals and politics. Oh, I don't know about that. I don't support the beliefs and core values of a lot of musicians, writers, or actors, but I still like their music, books, and movies. For myself, I don't care whether Biles supports the BLM . . . but I do care that as an Olympian she performs as well as she can for our country, and that she can do so safely.

If you were proclaimed the best gymnast ever, and you went to the Tokyo Olympics , and discovered that the competition got a lot better in five years, would that create undue stress to the point that you would bow out for health reasons?

Not really. Yes, she has said she supports BLM, but she also still stands for the national anthem, has said multiple times that it is an honor to rep the US in the olympics, and overall seems like a good person that just has a stance you disagree with. As I said above, you have no clue what it takes to be a gymnast. Most of the apparatus requires you to solely use your inner ear for spatial awareness. That is why it takes many, many years of practice to do those skills. If, for some reason, your mind starts confusing those signals then you are SOL. If you think a person can spot the ground in time while doing a double back flip with three full twists you're delusional. And trying to throw a skill like that without that spatial awareness would be akin to playing russian roulette. Beam is different in that its uses less spatial awareness as you have a at least one hand or foot on the beam with the exception of a few skills. If she does compete, she will probably remove a few of the more demanding skills and focus more on execution.

While I did support her in previous Olympics, I do not now. She is a quitter and a petulant child that let her team and the country down. There is nothing wrong with saying it either. Shaming is not a bad thing in many cases.

Yes she does. And I have the right to despise her for it, because it makes her anti American, and a supporter of communism. We have people in this country who want the Second Amendment abolished. If their character is flawed, and anti American, (and Biles is by supporting a communist based organization), I don't care about anything else. Poor character, along with supporting an anti American, communist organization, is not offset by how fast you can run, or how high you can jump.

You can't play both sides of the fence, by saying you support America by standing for it's anthem, and support an anti American communist organization the likes of BLM at the same time....... Especially when you are famous, and are constantly in the public eye.

DeNiro proved that by alienating over half of his audience with his remarks. That's his choice. Personally I'm glad he did, because he exposed himself as the complete POS he in fact is. There are several more where he came from. You see them every year at the Oscars. Standing in line to cut off their noses to spite their faces.
