Isn't "thegatewaypundit.com" a satirical news site? :anyone:

It is according to Wikipedia, but Wikipedia is an unreliable fake source. GP isn't satirical, they're just extra far right that pretty much publishes anything that bashes leftists whether it's true or not.

I left "California East" in 2015 after living there over 25 years because of the leftist politics, traffic, congestion, high cost of living, etc...

However, here's the actual County Resolution: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mZcFpEbo2m1uuAKh-PiedFB0wUsfO52X/view

I didn't read every single word so I may have missed it... But I didn't see anything like warrantless searches to confiscate firearms. There's a section that deals with suspending firearm sales and transfers during an emergency and Section 4 authorizes certain personnel to make a warrantless entry into/on to property in order to save life or property. But a law enforcement officer can pretty much do that anyway.

I'm not sure the sky is really falling...at least any further than it already has...in Saguache County.

That's the same that's in the GP article.

The population for the whole county is only 6368 in 2020, down from 6592 in 2019 - hardly bigger than a town. IMHO, could it be the county .gov has been taken over by a bunch of socialists out of Denver? What ever happens depends on who and how they interpret the county’s resolution.

https://www.bestplaces.net/voting/city/colorado/saguacheIn the last Presidential election, Saguache county remained strongly Democratic, 55.6% to 41.7%.
Saguache county voted Democratic in every Presidential election since 2000
