It’s been 2 weeks since rifle season ended and I came back to my cabin tonight to hunt the next 3 days. I decided to walk in the dark to get my camera cards from a couple of my cameras closest to the cabin. To my surprise, my #1 target buck is back! I haven’t had a picture of him since November 14th so I figured someone had taken him.

Now the hunt is back on!

Dang it boy!!!! That’s exciting news!!!

It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but it doesn’t look like he’s broken anything off.

I can’t tell for sure, but he is in awfully good shape. My #2 buck took a beating. He has skinned up shoulders and neck, and a big laceration on his right hind quarter, but he is healing up now.

Got a nice doe for our donation thread today.
Marlin 336 in .44 mag shooting a 230 grain Sierra jacketed hollow point.
A little high so she made 60 yards. Watched the tail through the trees until it stopped. Walked right up to her.
Easy load using the atv winch and a half sheet of plywood.
