Our bird feeders get overloaded with cardinals in the winter. There are more of them on days like today when the ground is covered with snow.
All them boys are waiting on the girls to show up!!

We've have about three cardinals visit our feeders. The birds I also like seeing are the crazy blue jays about 8:00 each morning. They hang out for about 10 minutes and then gone. Those things cause such a raucous.
Blue jays are mean but really pretty birds. my granny used to shoot them off her bird feeder with a old single pump Daisy which became my first gun.
The Junkos use our patio for refuge during the cold. The little suckers bring the seed and sunflowers from the feeder in there and then crap all over the place. I like the birds but can’t wait for it to warm up so they’ll stay out in the yard!
