If you pull it from the market when you have it, you're making it harder to get. If he's doing it for the money, he's a dreg of society.

My edit: the ban was only on Russian ammo. Manufacture it in another country and you're back on the board. Wouldn't be that hard to move it to Ukraine at this point.
Sorry, but no he's not. If he hadn't pulled it, it would likely have been gone in a day or two. It would have been off the market for sure then, but he wouldn't be a dreg. OK got it. Carry on...

So buy it now then. You can't. His motives are purely for profit. A business man doesn't care about the future market, he cares about moving product at a profit. If he has it and won't sell it, he's no business man.

Let’s revisit this when his Russian ammo is put back on the site and marked up astronomically.

He makes his living selling a product that he can no longer obtain. He marks it up to increase his profit, KNOWING that he has to find another source for product to sell and he hopes that the extra profit will sustain him until he can, otherwise he doesn't sell anything anymore. This is normal business 101 stuff guys. This is why ammo, food, gas, and anything else you can think of goes up in times of high demand and shortages.

So he pulls it to sell later at higher prices? Real classy. He won't be forgotten for it.

LOL Sam and his panic nonsense.

The last 3 cases of steel 7.62x39 ammo I have bought in the last few weeks have been Romanian and Bulgarian 20% cheaper than his precious Russian ammo, which is still being imported until the current licenses expire.

And wait until PSA fires up their line.

Capitalism can create funny moments, like any other system.

oh and FJB

I don't blame SG for halting sales of Russian ammo. Like gasoline, the price is more related to what the seller will have to pay to replace it, not what was paid for the gas in the gas station's tanks underground. That's why there is a futures market and contracts based on that.
If Russian ammo becomes unobtainable or very high priced SG is right to sell at market price.
And thank you PSA to have the foresight to see that something like this could happen and make the investment to provide a replacement for the Russian sources.

If he can sell it at his current prices and make money, it's bad business to pull it off the market. And I have seen stupid prices from him, particularly .22 when it was difficult to find. That and he always charged shipping plus tax made him higher than just about any other ammo place. He's as bad as CTD IMO and it's why I wouldn't do business with him. Frankly I hope PSA puts out so much steel case, it drops in price and he has to fire sale his to move it. I've never agreed with his business practices.
Palmetto State Armory already has ammo that they’re putting out and it’s not cheap. It’s the same going rate as everything else for their steel cased ammo. I believe I saw some the other day in one of their countless email ads. Cheap ammo like Russia in Europe made it’s gonna be one of those stories we talk about back in the day
