If he can sell it at his current prices and make money, it's bad business to pull it off the market. And I have seen stupid prices from him, particularly .22 when it was difficult to find.
Bad business is selling things based on what you paid for them and not what it costs to replace them. If the supply is constricted and costs go up you'll put yourself out of business by being behind the curve.

So he just contricted his market and he won't be able to replace them. Where does that put him?
I guess that depends on what portion of his customers are people like us that pay attention to such things, and how desperate the remaining ones are for ammo.

Well, let's assume he's sitting on a pile of ammo he gave .10 a round for - at today's rate he gets .50 per round.

If the Russian market dries up what do you reckon he can get for that ammo?

If the market stays open, and his replacement cost goes to .20, he just lost money.

He's in business to make money, not play Santa for a bunch of shooters accustomed to cheap ammo prices.

If you pull it from the market when you have it, you're making it harder to get. If he's doing it for the money, he's a dreg of society.

My edit: the ban was only on Russian ammo. Manufacture it in another country and you're back on the board. Wouldn't be that hard to move it to Ukraine at this point.
It would also not be that wise to move to the Ukraine at this point.

palmetto should expand out of South Carolina and get a more central location in the nation.… like Oklahoma City.
Into Oklahoma yes, but not necessarily OKC. I'm sure they could get better incentives if they chose a smaller location than they would in the city.
