I was hoping to go check cameras and fill feeders tomorrow. Instead, I'll be pulling them.

I wouldn’t have a problem restricting land ownership to citizens, but I’m not sure where you draw that line. Citizens of OK? Texans need not apply? Citizens of USA only? Is that Constitutional? Any of it? Seems like a pretty slippery slope for a bunch of Constitution loving, 2nd Amendment supporting gun owners.

Do homes count? How about commercial developments?

I don’t like it anymore than anyone else, but I do not and will not blame the landowners for cashing in. Land is worth, just like everything else in this world, what someone else is willing to pay. Just like ammunition, guns, cars, whiskey etc, etc, etc., with the large exception of “they ain’t making any more dirt”.

If you don’t want non-citizens buying up property, then someone is going to have to pay more for it than the non-citizen is willing to pay.

At some point, when the legislature fixes the pot growing laws in this state, some of that foreigner owned land is going to be back on the market at way less than what those dirty rotten foreign scoundrels paid. The legislature is to blame for the lax pot laws that allowed this to happen. I’m just shocked OK lawmakers screwed the pooch on that. It’s so unlike them to do something like that.
oklahoma has a law against foreign ownership of land now. the chinese and other are using a holding company formed by cooperative us citizens to own and control the lands.

Maybe I missed it, but was that a talking point in recent years prior to elections? I can answer that question for you if you don't know the answer.
I think you missed it.
We are just looking at it differently.
That’s cool.

The land I (and my brother) own will likely have deed restriction placed on it when we eventually sell it to family (or they inherit the land). Restrictions to keep the land ag based, might even place minimum lot size requirements should the future family/owners want to sell it into smaller chucks. Yes, it will likely drive the price down (in the near term) but if we don't protect the land for agriculture use it will all become 5-acre homesteads that produce nothing.

One thing I miss about Colorado and Idaho... Vast tracts of public recreational land.
Colorado filled up with Anti-Gun Anti-hunting Kalifornians and ruined the State. Now they will try doing the same to my State of Idaho. They are like Lice, they are everywhere and ruining our way of life. The only reason they move here is because of Kali's high taxes. They think freedom is being a LEO!

I agree completely. Absolutely infuriating. They’ve ruined the real estate market as well.

The saddest thing about the whole deal is that we wouldn’t have this problem if people wouldn’t sell them property in the first place but what can you do when people refuse to stand on principle and all they think about is the money?

I don't have to disagree with some exceptions. We stayed two months in the RV along the Arkansas river between Salida and Canon City. There were miles of Trump and American flags flying on fence posts. Very conservative part of Colorado.

You’re not wrong, but they do make their living selling real estate. If they’re not selling anything, they ain’t making money. :anyone:

My Father in Law was a realtor for 20 years, and I didn’t agree with some of his sales tactics. He did well though and had ALOT of repeat customers as both buyers and sellers, so whatever he did, his customers evidently approved.

Person A wants to sell
Person B wants to buy, has $$$$ in hand.

Person B is not restricted by law from purchase.

Part of the problem is Real Estate is sooooo expensive in Kommiefornia, the libturds get out of State and see they can buy acres and not square feet. They have cash and think they found a bargain.

There are laws against NOT selling to people, also.
