Don’t forget Forgin, May and Felt
I May have Felt a Forgin Hooker Beaver

Maybe you did it on purpose and I missed the reasoning, but you misspelled "Forgan."

And, just for the record, I'm gonna add Keyes, OK. The main reason for that is that my mother was a self-taught artist that did it for years. After she and my dad divorced, she had no formal training for work, so she thought she would try teaching others to paint.

At one time, she had 65 students per week, each coming in for 2 hours of learning and BS'ing. At one of the Keyes school alumni gatherings, the local bank set up an art show in which many of Mom's students set out some of their paintings.

I was greatly impressed with some of those students. I just wonder if any of them are still painting.

One of Mom's paintings.

More here if anyone is interested.

Fretia Miller Paintings

I tend to tell people that while I grew up at the knee of an artist, I don't have the same talent. The best I have is a sense of composure from seeing all the things she painted and that she used as "studies" for her painting. So, I guess Mom did teach me something about photography.

Thanks, Mom.

I just went with the family for the first time a couple of months ago and LOVED it. It felt a lot like Durango, CO to me. Definitely left of my personal beliefs, but full of laid back people that are grateful and welcoming to anyone that travels through. I would absolutely go again and stay in an AirBnB or VRBO where we could walk all over for food and shops.
Did you go to the Cat House? Great little bar and restaurant right on the Main Street? Usually a lot of bikes parked in front.
Live music that’s typically always acoustic with some really great singers.
Last year when we were there this one girl was Janis Joplin reincarnated if you were just listening and not looking.
Our favorite watering hole while there. Pretty decent food too.

Has been for a long time. Buddy of mine got married, honeymooned there over a decade ago - they had no idea it was "Gay Pride Weekend" or some such...

Harrison Arkansas gives off a better vibe, and it's on the way to some good fishing.
Harrison is a dry county though.
We have stayed at the Toad Suck Inn though before canoeing the Buffalo.
BTW there is a gay pride event in your town as well.
When are you moving?
