I got to admit I think it is going to snap into hot fast this year. I am gonna miss these temps!

We had a house at 8900' in Colorado. There was one home between ours and the Pike National Forest. We did many hikes in the mountains back then. I do miss it, but those were the days when CO was still a red state though. Can't wait to spend the summer in Colorado at about 8500' altitude, having to wear a light jacket most of the day.....
We have had a really good spring though IMHO.
Most of the counties outside of the Denver and Colorado Springs areas are still very Red.We had a house at 8900' in Colorado. There was one home between ours and the Pike National Forest. Wanting just to take your food outside to cook and not use the oven or stove huh? lolIm praying for the summer of 2011
LOL No I actually don't want a repeat of 2011. IIRC, in Lawton, you weren't supposed to be using your grills it was so hot. That summer had MAJOR SUCK factorWanting just to take your food outside to cook and not use the oven or stove huh? lol
It was warm for sure. -17⁰ in February and 111⁰ in the summer iirc.LOL No I actually don't want a repeat of 2011. IIRC, in Lawton, you weren't supposed to be using your grills it was so hot. That summer had MAJOR SUCK factor
100+ for over 90 days here in LawtonIt was warm for sure. -17⁰ in February and 111⁰ in the summer iirc.
Yeah that doesn't surprise me, it's just like rural Oregon or even California and Washington, the major population centers are where the libs are concentrated and where the votes that make the difference between whether a state is red or blue are located. Sucks for all the good people living in those states. Most of the counties outside of the Denver and Colorado Springs areas are still very Red.
Amazing the number of Trump signs and flags on the highway between Canon City and Buena Vista.
A few triple digit temps and hot wind will fix that.I was just thinking the opposite. Usually by the middle of May it's already, hot, humid and wheat is only two or three weeks away from harvest. It's not even remotely close as cool as it's been. Going to be the middle to end of June at the earliest for the first time in a long, long time.
