If I could afford it I would live somewhere that it was in the 40s at night and the 60s during the day but only if it was a 2A location.

Does such a place even exist?

I've often said that if I were rich I would have a summer time two story double wide up north somewhere.
Probably not 2a friendly, but in Yakutsk it is forecasted those temps.

But come January / Feburary, Yakutsk will see 50-60° below zero without a wind chill!

Sounds like a neat place!

How well do those work when it‘s already danged humid out?
Bottom-line is evaporative cooling. I do agree the misters would work better in a desert than in a swamp. We're using ours in Arizona. The monsoon season seems to be skipping us this year; those storms often start with dust and then provide some rain along with increased humidity. Hoping the edge of Hurricane Hellery gives us some moisture.
