Not much going on here in Rhode Island other than work. However, we have reserved some space on a tour boat on June 17 to spend a 7 hour day on the water touring the bays here near Providence and going by almost 20 lighthouses. To be honest, those interest me more than just about anything else that Rhode Island has to offer.

Wow, that sounds like a fun day trip Terry. Can’t wait to see the pics.

Yeah, I'm kind of anxious to do this. I was reading some about the lighthouses and some of them are called "Spark Plugs" or "Coffee Pot Towers." Those tend to look like this one, which just happens to be one of the ones in the tour.

The tour is operated by an organization called "Save the Bay," which apparently also has some interesting history in conservation of the bay and its critters. A link to their website regarding the lighthouse tour: Save the Bay Lighthouse Tour

Well, I had a first tonight...heard noise outside the front door, and opened the door to find 2 kids standing there, about 10-12 y.o., one boy and one girl (I knew who the boy was). Their first question: "Do you have Youtube?" I said yeah we have YT, to which the girl says, "you should subscribe to my channel, its ____". They were looking to get her up to 100 subscribers. I've had Jehova Witnesses, cops, salesmen, and multiple other door knockers, but first time for YouTube request!

My wife has left me…well, only for one night. Our oldest son bought tickets to take my wife, her sister, his girlfriend, and her mom to see a To Kill a Mockingbird play in Dallas this afternoon, and my wife is spending the tonight with her sister in Keller.
I decided to smoke a shoulder roast since I’m going to be by myself today and don’t have much to do (or much I want to do). :thumb:
