My grandpa and grandma lived to 103 and 101. They both passed within 12hrs of each other. Thinking back at their life and the way they lived, the only answer I could come up with is no preservatives or processed food. Everything they ate came out of their garden or raised and butchered themselves.

Honestly, I hope it's that way with me and Grumpy. I might ***** about him but I don't know where I'd find anothet fella that would humor me like he does.
I met my wife in 5th grade, but we didn’t “date” until our freshman year in college. We got married at 20 and have been married 34 years. She’s a no drama mama, and if something happens to her, I’m not going looking for another woman. And I agree with you COMPLETELY!! Grumpy and I do not wear rings. Never have. He wanted to take me to pick out rings and I was like "Ehhhh. Let's find something else to do that's more practical with that money -- like pay bills. We were both so damned broke when we met.
When I was working at the grocery store I got hit on CONSTANTLY. (I'm not bragging -- I don't get it either.
) Well except every single one of those guys was ... Uhmmmm ... "Different" ... Some of them were my children's age. 
" DUDE!! I'm old enough to be your Momma!!" And couple of them were homeless. "Uhmmm, I don't think so." And one or two of them were guys I'd known for a while from different places -- one from the accounting place I worked at, one I'd met while I was working at the gun range ... I'd always heard people saying the grocery store was THE place to pick someone up but I never really believed it.
But DAMN -- They weren't kidding. 
This is one of my weaknesses. Grilled to crispy on the grittle with 2 fried eggs and metric **** ton of hot sauce, will change your life. And raise your BP to an all time high 
Been looking for those Patio dinners and don't see them anymore. We like the Delimex taquitos for a snack.
Same for XLNT brand tamales (used to be wrapped in corn leaves then over-wrapped in white paper).
I dont know if we was poor or not when growing up or dad was just a tightwad but we always had food to eat cause we growed most of what we ate and always had clothes to wear but nothing fancy and not many to choice from and a roof over our heads, it wasnt til i moved from home that i found out what poor was and i have been there from time to time.
