Well, I just got a quote for a 30x50x12 for $15,000. I have a concrete friend who will do my pad for $7,500. $22,500 +tax and a permit ($650). Not bad I don’t think

Yeah, a lot of these metal carport/garage companies have free delivery and install with the purchase of their buildings. I’ve probably seen two dozen on Facebook marketplace and now in my wife’s feed since that’s what I’ve been searching. No price breakdown but I’ve just made a mental note about the overall size including height (very important) and the door and window options. This one I am likely getting has two 10x8 roll up doors, two man doors, and four windows . Concrete I’m getting done by a friend who is charging $5/sq ft and he usually charges $6. Which even $6/sq ft is good I believe . If you want his info I can if he’d be open to another side job. Depending on your location.

Here’s a recent quote from Better Barns in Noble, OK. It doesn’t break down labor and materials. 30x50 weld up building with 12 foot walls. Concrete included. Building includes one overhead door and one personal door. No windows and no insulation. It works out to around $26 per Sq Ft. I’ll be receiving quotes from other contractors in the next week or so.

That sounds like a solid deal, c-bob. I did get a guy to quote me $6 ft for concrete but couldn't get him to show up. Pretty typical around here, we're finding.

Hard to beat this Father/Son duo. They have built several for me and the own a spray foam company as well.
Have recommended them for over 25 years and people like em.

The Railroad yard in Stillwater sells hundreds of steel building kits every year. They have a list of contractors as well. I already had my builder lined up before ordering the steel for the 30X40.

Ask for Darrell or stetson at the railroad yard. Tell them I sent you.. I've known them since 2006. It probably won't get you a special but I'm hoping it will get me one.

Well, I’m likely getting my permit today. Sold that mini truck. Doing this all cash cuz I refuse to go into debt. 30x50x12 with vertical roof. Roll up door on both ends. Two windows and one man door on each side. $15,000 + taxes installed.

Is this a red iron building or a muffler pipe building?

Neither. It’s a steel 2” square tube framed building. The red iron would be way more expensive not just the structure but having to do a footing as well.
