Hello All,

This is Mega Machine Shop. We wanted to let every one involved in the flashover-mega group buy what is happening on our end. We received artwork from Les about three weeks ago. Our design team got the sample part designed, and then we ran a sample part a week ago (see attached picture). As soon as we get an approval for this logo as well as ½ payment we will start production. We could start production within 24hrs from now after securing ½ payment. The complete order could be shipped three weeks after the start of production and after full payment has been made.

Thank you,
Mega Machine Shop

Thank you Mega, that is the first update I have had on this order since April!

And
HELL NO ON THE LOGO

That was never mentioned until the MEGA post!!!

OSA serial number with a mega logo was what I have paid for and I will flat out sue in small claims court if that is not what I get. I don't care if I never see a dime or a lower.

I DO NOT WANT A FTF LOGO!

I am looking to sponsor a group buy for OSA Members only. I have had a couple of members inquire about MEGA Lowers. I have contacted the company and have it set up to be able to receive lower receivers from them.

Now the dirt -
I am going to shoot a price of $120 out the door. Please understand that this price will include the lower, shipping, sales tax, and transfer fee. If there is a large enough demand, we can probably look at getting the lowers for around $100 out the door. Please understand that there is an approximately 1 month turnaround time frame we will be dealing with. Custom serial numbers are available as well (for a small up charge I am sure). Once I get a final number of lowers, I will PM you an exact price! The deadline for me to have your money for the lowers is going to be November 21st! I plan on submitting the orders on December 1st!
I apologize to the members who PMed me wanting Spike's Lowers. There is no way in hell I will ever consider doing business with them until they publish a letter of apology or prove their cost increases!
For Tulsans - I can meet you guys up there or, have them transferred to a fellow FFL that is affiliated with OSA to take care of the 4473.

Once you have decided FOR SURE that you are wanting a lower, send me a PM if you MIGHT be interested in a matching A3/Flattop Upper. Plan on spending $95 for the upper receiver. If there is enough of a demand on these as well, you can expect the price to be substantially cheaper!

If you guys are interested, please submit a post on this thread only with your user name and number of lowers requested. We are all grown ups on here. Please do not waste our time by sending PMs or littering up this thread with BS inquiries! If you consider yourself a legitimate buyer with a legitimate question, please feel free to PM me.......seriously!

ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ULTIMATUM POSTS SUCH AS "IF THEY GET DOWN TO THIS PRICE, I WILL TAKE 1." YOU ARE EITHER IN OR YOUR NOT, PERIOD!

Furthermore, I am changing the deadline for requesting an upper/lower to Wednesday November 19th due to the "mad rush." I will need your funds no later than that day. If there is some reason that you want a lower/upper but need some time to send the money, PM me. If you are willing to give me your word in writing via PM or in person via handshake, I will do whatever I can to facilitate your financial needs.

The uppers will come with M4 Feedramps unless requested otherwise.

Custom Serial Numbers will be outrageous. However, due to the number of lowers we already have spoken for, I am going to see about having the serial numbers start as "OSA-001" and go up in sequence. I thought that would be kind of cool to do since this is a group buy. If anybody hates this idea, I will try to do whatever necessary to facilitate your requests.

I am still in limbo about the caliber markings (Multi). I hope to find something out later on today.

Dustin was nice enough to post a link showing pictures of these lowers in comparison to others. They will be "The Gator" model with the gator skin appearance in front of the magwell.

I will post a company link for MEGA later on.
Thanks,
LW

Wow, just wow. This gets more interesting as the days go by. Thanks to MEGA for taking the time to provide updates on this FAIL of a group buy - no doubt, you are much busier than FTF, yet you took the time to provide an update with physical evidence. :thumb:

The agreement Mega made with Les was for standard Mega lower receivers with the mega logo and serial# on one side, and the supplied logo on the other side. We were not going to charge anything for setup and design of the logo, just to speed up the resolution of this fiasco. We were willing to absorb this cost to help all of you guys get the parts that you have paid for. It is unfortunate that we were not aware that everyone was excepting something different. We have standard mega receivers on the shelf ready to ship. But once again we cannot do anything until we receive payment. Mega Machine Shop has not received any money from FTF/Les. We here at Mega Machine Shop want nothing more then to resolve this mess!

Thank you,
Mega Machine Shop

It would have been nice to have a custom OSA serial number, but at this point I would be more than happy with a standard off the shelf lower. I am not interested in the logo that was posted. I wouldn't mind some kind of an OSA logo but I don't care for that FTF logo.

Hopefully Les will realize we don't want that and get the money sent to you so we can get this deal done.

Thanks again Mega for the information.

As I posted several weeks ago and have told Les personally let's get the standard Mega lowers and put this thing to bed!
The Flashover logo isn't exactly gonna make these a hot resale item and has nothing to do with OSA.
