Good photo's of the stuff your selling, especially on used items. Knives, tomahawks, ammo, magazines, popular optics and sighting devices, and you get the drift. Oh yeah, allow pickup if local (especially on the ammo).

If your selling used guns, I'd like lots of high quality photos, and not just some stock photos ripped off the manufacturers website.

This. The one thing I hate about BudsGunShop.com is "*Please Note!! Many of our pictures are stock photo's provided to us by the manufacturer and do not necessarily represent the actual item being purchased. Please verify this picture accurately reflects the product described by the title and description on this page before you place your order."

Which is great and understandable and all, but in the case of the Mossberg 590A1 model 51660, it's a description for a 590 with ghost ring sights, where the 51660 is a 590A1 with bead sight.

So, accuracy in information is a definite. A few extra minutes of verifying all info is correct can save the company time and money in the long run by not having to accept returned/exchanged items because the buyer wasn't 100% certain what he was buying.

Also, customer reviews. The woman calls me a review whore. I love customer reviews over "professional" reviews. What I love even more than customer reviews are sites that make it a point to mention that the reviewing customer purchased this item through their website, a la Amazon.com and their "Amazon Verified Purchase". This helps cut down on competitors posting up false negative reviews and sellers from posting false positive reviews.

Online layaway. The #2 reason I shop at Buds (#1 is the price).

Edit: Whoa, didn't realize this was a zombie thread.
