Finally got around to watching the last episode. I learned a lot about Washington that I had not heard or had maybe forgotten. Truly the father of our country and a unique individual, even with his faults.

One thing that struck me was rethinking the French participation in the revolution. Frankly, we probably would not have achieved independence without the French. It made me think about US participation in current world affairs to support those fighting for freedom and democracy against their own government tyranny.

I think you're right. Without the French navy, I'm confident the Brits could've evacuated Yorktown by sea, al la Dunkirk. We couldn't have stopped them and their army could have been saved to fight another day.

The French? Really? What happened to real history?
This show is just an insidious liberal back door attempt to promote cheese eating surrender monkeys. FAKE NEWS! Written by the spawn of liberal Universities. All is lost.

I was hoping to find a way to watch this for free online for those of us that don't have fancy TV but no luck so far.
