They will be getting all that DOPE, er, uh, recreational mj money.

To be added to medical money
And the lottery money
And the casino money
And the paramutual betting money

It's very obvious the schools are strapped.

You people are heartless.

Grandson, 5th grade, had a basketball home game, Monday. Get to gym and sign says "Adults $3, Students $1"
I reach for wallet and lady says, " over 65 is FREE. " That be me, I walk in.

Yesterday, away game. Sign says "Adults $3, Students $2, Children $1, under 2 FREE"

I walk by and lady is hollering, SIR, SIR $3.

I tell her I am over 65. She says $3

I said, our games were $3 Students $1, over 65 and under 5 FREE.

She says, " must be nice having a RICH DISTRICT, the kids need money. "

OK, $3, but $0 for concessions.

Schools aren't broke, they are MISMANAGED!

Per the Oklahoma Department of Education website, the ratio of Teacher to Students is 1 to 15

OKC Public school did not have buses picking up and dropping of students until 1967

1.9 Billion Dollar bond issue? That's like putting a Turbo on a Yugo, at the end of the day you still have a Yugo. Need to re evaluate what we are doing, have a plan. Just throwing money at a problem never works.
