Nope, we are not time traveling and getting in a line to jack Rod off. It’s a Pumping unit ran from another pumping unit with rods. Pretty neat, I’ve never heard or seen one before!
I've watched a few of this guy's videos on his YT channel and he certainly has the ties to the old school ways. I liked that he backed out at the end so the listener could hear the sounds of the past. The only thing missing is the sound of the hit-or-miss engine in the central power house and the eccentric as it pulled multiple rod lines. That hook-up to the electric standard pumping unit for the rod pull was certainly a bit of "Okie-engineering" if I ever saw it.
That's certainly a possibility. Another I thought of was around Burkburnett TX, just north of Wichita Falls.I’m Trying to figure out where this ol boy is from. The area he is in is pretty flat, I’m kinda guessing Texas Panhandle somewhere
that is how the wells on our place were ran long before I was born, the jack house is still standing our barn was a service station and office building for the pennok oil company I think it closed down in the 50's.
There may be one or two but I’m not sure. Pretty much everyone has converted in the last 10-20 yearsLot's of these running in the Ratliff City and Velma area.
