Pulled my camera cards and checked them out this evening. This is the buck I missed today. Appears he has had his butt kicked a few times this season.
I pulled the camera card on the trail where I sat this morning. This is the buck I missed at 4:30 yesterday afternoon. I hadn’t changed the time on the camera so this was actually at 5:30, one hour after I shot at him. He is alive and well, still cruising the property.

My sister-in-law took her 2nd buck this season this morning at the ranch...my brother is still waiting on his 2nd buck. Here are two pic's....the first one is the buck taken this AM and the other is the buck she shot opening weekend. They had to beg the deer processor to take this mornings deer as they were at full....this 2nd deer was not large but they were looking for meat for the freezer....a lot of deer taken the last few days in Hughes Co.

Not the biggest nor the best, but for being what he was, a trophy nonetheless.

10 ish yards. Glock 20 Sig 180gr hp. High mule kick, never ran, just kind of lolly-gagged around and then layed down about 35-40 yards away and went to sleep.
