Im not really worried about it this year the object of it this year was to show her that you work the ground plant the seed and watch it grow to see where the food comes from, part of it could be we have so many plants in a very small 6x6 space, hopefully next year i will have room to spread it out in a much larger area. The squash plants are the largest i have every raised in my 50 some odd years of being around a garden. They are around 3 ft tall as of right now.

I think you may be right in that your space is too small - your plants look GREAT!!

Running out of room. Tomatoes, blueberries and figs. Figs will be sliced and freeze dried.
