People remember - if you leave a gun in the car - LOCK the CAR!
Sheesh. Lock your car and store it out of sight at least . . . . and don't show it off on TikTok.
But...but....I want to put stickers all over my vehicle advertising what's inside.
Makes me think of a very old thread here where the subject was "Is your gun just a talisman?", and the idea was that many people are into guns/CCW because it's a comforting idea to defend yourself, but they are otherwise not really all that into the full spectrum of gun ownership.
In an ideal world, gun owners would be people who practiced regularly, always knew the loaded condition of the gun, where it was stored and how it was secured. This alone would have prevented a lot of the stupid reactionary gun control laws we have now.
We can all laugh when we see videos of bubba and his case of beers and him doing stupid stuff with shotguns or revolvers, but that is the exact opposite of responsible gun ownership.
