Buffalo's are cheap, probably 40 bucks or so, but I highly recommend them. They do everything, are reliable, and cheap.

Do you recommend the best you can afford or one that will work for you.
Looking at Buffalo WHR-HP-GN & WHR-HP-G300N & WZR-HP-G300NH.
Rioughly $40, $60, and $80 respectively.
I used the 60 dollar one back in the day, it used to be 40, it was quite reliable, the other two I havent used, but those 40 dollar ones are tempting considering it offers N, higher speeds ( I share and stream a lot), and DD-WRT from the factory
Engenius/Senao APs are high powered and are usually pretty affordable.

I would kill for 1.5mbps real-world download... I run 90-100kbps most of the time
