Daheck is dis ting? I was at my neighbor's house a few days ago and he had a new HEX bit set. I saw this and asked what it was. He didn't know either. The open end of the Y is hex shaped as if to hold more bits but they are too big and won't fit inside. It looks like an allen wrench will fit but only one size.

The Y shaped tool.

According to iFixIt, it's a "hook drive," which, I guess, means it's for screwing in (or out) screw-in hooks. It's in the 1/4" drive bits section of their Manta Driver Kit.
