Yeah I'm gonna see if it can survive. I've had an Aimpoint H-1 on backorder for 2 months and even have the ADM mounts sitting on the shelf but when it looked like I wasn't going to get it I broke down and ordered this 511 since they are a lot cheaper then the Aimpoint setup. I've always liked using the single dot Eo's but just never had enough faith in them. We shall see how she holds up.
I've been using the only mags available..... piece of crap C Products mags. I have at least 6 now though that I have weeded out as being good ones. I have been begging Magpul to make some 5.45 mags but I guess they have no interest in doing so. I'm hoping I show up and Costa hands me some.....
It's the non mi-spec version.
You will notice one big difference from an Aimpoint as the EOTech 511 uses the N batteries with a life of only 200 hours.
Yeah I've never understood why Eo can't figure out the battery issue like Aimpoint has.
