I know this is an old post, but I have a related question. I looked at the cartridge data sheets on the Winchester and Hodgdon pages. The subsonic .223 loads that they list were fired out of a 24" barrel. My question is what kind of velocity drops can I expect out of an 11.5" barrel?
Good question. I'll be shooting out of a suppressed 10.5 barrel. Midway sells a brand that will cycle the action, but I can't afford too much shooting with those.
