Anyone work on laptops?

Does any work on laptops? I have a laptop that power supply connection wore out and loose. It will not charge anymore. I don't want to spend a lot to fix it because they are disposable these days. Anyone here that can help please send me a pm. I am in Moore Ok. Thanks!

The last one I had that went bad, I spliced and soldered the wire right at the supply box.

That worked until I received the one I ordered from Amazon for $15.

Ive done them before.. Some snap in.. some solder in... either way they require almost a full tear down to fix...

Some arent even solderable (is that a word)? Whats the model and we could tell you.

Might do a YouTube search and see if there is a video on how to do that. I changed the cooling fan in my HP laptop a while back and just followed the video on my cell phone and it was a great boost to the old confidence meter to watch how it's done.
