I have found in 20 years of being retired, that it's the simple things that matter, and are the most enjoyable. I worked shift work, and the simple pleasure of going to bed every night is still a big deal to me! Commenting, and interacting, on here, and other forums, has turned into a hobby for me. I have been kicked off half a dozen sites over my political opinions! Kinda enjoy ruffling their feathers!

We all need a hobby! I have been known to take the opposing view, that I didn't agree with, just so we could have a lively debate!

I'm hoping one of these days I'll be one of the old guys that help open up the doughnut shop sitting with the small group of friends sipping coffee in the corner with their usual order of doughnut of the day watching all the half asleep dregs shlopping in and out with their dozen or so mixed sugar breads trying to make the daily grind just a wee bit better.

The last time I worked was June 2016. I still wake thinking “I need to get the report in” or “ I need to read the reports to see what’s going on”.
