I vote for the colt as I am a colt fanatic, I would feel very comfortable with the sig also!

Another that's really not in the same class as these is the old AMT Backup.
I've owned a few and they were all very dependable.
I've got one now that has done nothing but go bang every time I pull the trigger.

The sig is accurate and reliable easy to get good shot placement. As for the 380 better to have something than nothing at all.

It's my understanding that the Sig was built on the old Colt patent that expired.

Having said that, when I tried to use the Colt mag in the Sig, the last round would not eject. It seems that Sig designed the follower with a slightly higher rise, not allowing the last round to clear it. This little change seems to be on purpose, to sell more Sig mags.

I agree, the Sig has good sights, is easy to shoot accurately, and is reliable. 380 is not my first choice either.
