I don't think you can lay a parents blame at the foot of the schools. If schools indoctrinate kids, it's because parents aren't involved enough with their kids to teach them character, integrity, and morals. It's an unpopular opinion, but it's absolutely the truth. Ironically, there are a lot of kids that get character, integrity, and morals from the schools for a lack of good parenting. How many coaches taught us all more than just the game?

I totally agree with parents not being involved with their kids on that level, with those subjects. BUT, have you read the monthly issues of the OEA or NEA rags? Look it up, that crap is toxic.

Especially since the shooter is known to have mental issues like most of the other mass shooters. That issue you brought up could very well have been the trigger.
He is in for mental examination as we speak, by trained democrat shrinks.
I'm sure the result of those "examinations" will be that Trump was at fault.

Totally disagree.
Kids are in school getting indoctrination almost 8 hours a day. Then have to come home and do homework on the propaganda for another couple of hours. Parents get them up in the morning, send them off, and get them for a couple of hours in the evening before putting them to bed.
I read some families, including my own son that are fighting the indoctrination with home schooling after normal school hours. The kids are fighting against the conservative policies saying their teachers are smarter and know better because he doesn't have a college degree.
He is increasingly frustrated and doesn't know how to reverse the course. He is trying, so I have to give him props.

What can we do to eliminate gun violence in Chicago that has zero gun shops and the most draconian anti-gun laws in the nation?
Perhaps we should look at Washington DC that has an almost total gun ban unless you go through their regulations to see who might get exemptions.
