I went with a top rated dealer who also...........took credit cards.
Dealing with this issue from the other end. Selling my first gun there now. Have only purchased up till now (11 feedbacks there). Was concerned it would hamper selling and all I can say is use a USPS money order so it's mail fraud and seek communication. If the don't instill some confidence then BACK AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD. I've dealt with some real jerks on GB but plenty of good sellers too. I'm not an FFL so hope that don't scare buyers off. Have had two inquiries so far and both turned into pleasant conversations I'd hope they got reassurance from.
