Can we talk about Bob Macy and his aids?

Nothing I have seen points to Macy being a serial killer unless someone has proof he knew about Gilchrist.

Macy sent 54 to death row. That is pretty well documented.
The views on the number of “innocent” will vary quite a bit by the agenda and views of the authors of the material.

People should pay heed to this post. They should also know that with science, hindsight is sometimes 20/20. Things change. And Gilcrist was probably a whole lot more culpable than Macy in any cases that were bad, whether intentional or just incompetence, who really knows?

I was once questioned by Macy as a potential juror on the murder of an OHP officer. He asked me if I had any issues with the death penalty. I told him the straight up truth and said "NO". The defense attorney stood up and had me booted on the spot. IIRC, each side had a certain number they could boot for any reason, or even no reason. I fell in that number. I'm pretty sure Macy sent that guy the death row. Not all of his cases were trumped up.
