Likely the blower resistor as people have mentioned:

but the confusing part is it should not be intermittent if you bump the unit, unless there is an intermittent connection.

The last f550 we had had high speed only and it was the resister.

All are correct, but one thing to consider is most often the high speed has its own line and fuse. For a cheap fix to try, check the line and find the fuse, you may be able to get the blower running only on high for less than a buck.
