That is a neat read.
and this Corolla. Not yet a million as of this article.

I did know a guy that taught driving school and his 1998 Corolla had 850,000 miles on it and he sold it to a 21 year old that wanted it.
She called him and had a new born child and learned to drive in that car and asked if she could buy it.

Friend wanted to see if he could get 1 million miles from it.
She still has it last I knew as he told me anyway.

I thought I drove a lot some of these people go 200,000 miles a year.

Man, I had 276k on my SportTrac before I shelled out a transmission and I thought that was a ton. Bought it new in 2007 and killed it in 2013. I'd still have it, but we went through 3 really crappy winters and I said never again to a 2 wheel drive truck. 3.0 V6 did really well for me.

I have seen the 3.0 and the ones I seen had iron block and iron heads.
Way better on head gaskets than the 3.8 Ford

I have 356,000 on my corolla and still have original hoses.
Original engine and trans.
But I am not even in the ball game with those low numbers.
My 82 Mustang had 376,000 on original engine and trans no issues other than the car fell apart around it.

I’ve never kept a vehicle past about 150k, but my 2011 F250 is my favorite truck of any I’ve had. I plan to see just how far it will go, and so far, it’s at a little over 196k with no major problems. I figure it will hit 200k by the end of the year if my OK trip frequency continues. :thumb:

Had a girlfriend in high school who's dad was a retired fighter pilot. He had one of those Mercedes diesel sedans that had somewhere around the 700k mile mark when I was dating her. I've never kept a vehicle that long.

I have a 2017 F250 with 22,100 miles on it and a 2018 Cruze with about 29,000 miles on it. I just don't drive a lot these days.
