The Chrony F1 Master works well. Pick up a cheap tripod to go with it from Walmart and you are set.

I have the 1st model chroney that I bought in the late 80. It only gives a 1 time velocity. The current models are cheaper than mine, and have more features.
Your wise getting a chronograph. I have put a lot of BS to rest with some of the "3500 fps in my 165 grain 30-06 crowd"

I've got a Chrony, but I find more of a novelty than anything else.

I use a PACT Professional. I use the ballistic table that comes with it and print them off using the chronograph. Makes it handy to have a ballistic table rolled up in the box with my reloads.

I've got an old Chrony, been pleased with it.
I don't remember when I bought it, but I've used it for years.
No problems, accurate enough, durable.

If you are serious about reloading it is a good tool to have but not essential.

I have one, just haven't seen it in awhile. I believe it's a chrony, don't remeber which model.
