I ended up with a 1977 Colt Cobra, it is not in terrible shape but hasn't been treated with a lot of love either. Pretty dirty. I pulled the grips off and there is some rust on the spring, nothing to do harm as far as functionality goes. I was going to take it apart and clean it myself but have since decided to take it in and get it done professionally. I believe it was dropped at some point in its life (see pic). I want to keep it as original as possible but maybe see if they can clean that booger up some and give this gun a nice cleaning and a good polishing. I don't think there is anything mechanically wrong with it, I have not fired it, but it seems to function fine. Any recommendations who would be good to service this kind of work?
